I am a resident at an apartment community. Can CGAA help with a complaint, legal issue, or provide a copy of my lease? 

CGAA is a trade association that serves apartment communities, management companies, and supplier partners within the multifamily housing industry. We do not manage individual apartment communities and cannot assist with resident complaints, lease disputes, or other resident-specific matters.

For concerns related to your apartment or lease, please contact your property management team directly. If you need legal guidance, we recommend consulting an attorney familiar with Georgia landlord-tenant law. CGAA does not maintain copies of individual leases. If you need a copy of your lease, please request one directly from your apartment community or management company.

What is the Coastal Georgia Apartment Association (CGAA) and what do you do?

Founded in 1979, CGAA is a regional trade association representing and supporting professionals across Coastal Georgia’s multifamily housing industry. Our members include apartment owners and operators, management companies, developers, independent rental property owners, and supplier partners who provide products and services to the industry. CGAA strengthens the multifamily community through advocacy, education, industry resources, networking, and professional development—connecting our members and helping our industry thrive.

Are all apartment communities in the Savannah area required to be members of CGAA?

No, CGAA membership is voluntary. Apartment communities typically become affiliated through their ownership or management company. Many professionally managed communities throughout Savannah and the surrounding areas choose to be CGAA members to stay connected to industry resources, education, advocacy, and professional development.

How do I join the CGAA, and who can be a member?

CGAA membership is open to companies that own, manage, or develop multifamily rental housing, as well as supplier partners that provide products and services to the industry. Memberships are company-based, giving your team access to CGAA benefits, resources, education, events, and networking opportunities.
